"I tried buying tickets on the site..."
I tried buying tickets on the site and it was way more stressful than it needed to be. The whole thing felt messy, with too many steps and buttons that weren’t clear. I ended up having to start over twice, which was super annoying. What made it worse was that it wasn’t even clear who was actually responsible for the process or where to go for help if something went wrong. Not a smooth experience at all

"Support Didn’t Meet My Expectations"
I ran into an issue and reached out to ThunderTix support, but it took much longer than I’m comfortable with to get an actual response. When someone finally replied, it didn’t really solve the problem, and I ended up having to explain everything again. I usually expect support to be a lot more responsive and helpful, especially when something needs to be fixed quickly, so this was frustrating.

"Too pricey for what you get"
I tried ThunderTix because I thought it would make ticket setup easy. It was simple enough at first. But the cost started adding up fast.

For what I paid, I expected more. The tools felt average. Some basic things were clunky. It also felt like a lot of useful features should have already been included.

Maybe it makes sense for bigger events. For me, it just did not feel worth it. I would compare other options before paying for this.

Buying the tickets was straightforward at first, but the checkout kept glitching on me. After a couple tries, I started getting nervous about whether the purchase was even going through correctly. It worked out eventually, but it definitely made me trust the process a lot less.

"Event setup was a clunky mess"
Setting up the event was way more annoying than it needed to be. The customization options felt super limited, and the whole thing acted like a stubborn little gremlin anytime I tried to make it look the way I wanted

"Check-in ended up being kind of a headache"
We used thundertix for our event, and the box office/check-in part was the most stressful bit. Orders weren’t coming up as quickly as we needed, the scanners were hit or miss, and our volunteers kept having to look people up by name while the line just kept growing. It was one of those things where it seemed like it should’ve been simple, but it just wasn’t. For what we paid, I really expected that side of it to run a lot smoother.

I used thundertix for a small event, and the reporting was frustrating. I kept feeling like I was losing time just trying to pull basic numbers that should’ve been easy to find. There was way too much clicking around, and a couple of the exports didn’t look right, which made me nervous about relying on them.
The attendee management side wasn’t much better for us. Searching for people, updating details, and checking guests in all took longer than expected, and when you’re running an event, every extra minute matters. Maybe it works fine for other teams, but for us it felt clunky and not worth the hassle.
